About Me
Chris Brannon (he/him) is a versatile artist who can only be described as a ray of sunshine. Based and born in Detroit, MI, he is pursuing his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting with a minor in Communication at Oakland University. Chris shines with a bright and open energy that he never hides. He maintains a calm and collected demeanor while working diligently to create art effectively. He has appeared in a range of productions, including contemporary drama, theatre for young audiences, musicals, and classical works. He has also stage-managed three plays while at Oakland. He enjoys teaching and loves to make an impact on young artists, helping them find themselves in the world. His performance experience often engages with themes of self-identity and belonging, and he brings a focused, collaborative spirit to every project. Known for his professionalism, strong work ethic, and adaptability, Chris is committed to telling stories that resonate with audiences while contributing positively to the creative process. He has had the opportunity to work with various professionals from the Metro Detroit area, such as Kelli Crump, Karen Sheridan, Oscar Quiroz, and Sara Wolf. Chris is actively seeking opportunities in the arts, including Acting, Directing, and Teaching. When he isn’t working, you can find him at his piano or at his desk, being an academic weapon.
