Chris L. Brannon (he/him)



Chris L. Brannon (full name: Christian Lynn Brannon) was born and raised in Detroit, MI. From a young age, Chris has always had a smile on his face and cared for others. His love for performance started when he would play Just Dance with his family on holidays and demolish them. From then on, Chris always had a passion for performance. This passion led him to take a leap in his senior year and audition for Oakland University's BFA Acting program. He would be accepted and have the privilege of being involved in several shows in various capacities, such as acting, stage management, and crew. Throughout his time at Oakland, he learned he has a passion for education and directing. This past summer, he had the opportunity to be a camp counselor and teaching assistant, serving as an assistant director for a youth production of the famous Shakespeare play 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. Chris has also worked for professional theatre companies such as Detroit Public Theatre and Renaissance Repertory Theatre. Most recently, he stepped onto the Detroit Opera House's stage as a supernumerary for Harlem Dance Theatre.
When Chris isn't engaged in theatre work, you can usually find him at his keyboard teaching himself piano, working out, or watching movies (especially horror!). He's a lover of nature, music, traveling, and any experience that broadens his understanding of the world. All of these passions fuel his artistry, shaping him into a dedicated storyteller and human being.
